Meet Bailley
Flowers have always been my passion and I have been a professional florist in the Okanagan for ten years. Gems and Stems at Eastside highlights a organic whimsical style that showcases local, in-season blooms whenever possible.
I specialize in weddings, events, everyday occasions as well as workshops! I love to share my passion through teaching and helping others find their creative style.
The "gems" in Gems and Stems signifies my adoration of the energy and vibrations different gems give plants and ourselves. I love incorporating unique gems into my floral designs and handmade jewellery.
Mediation is an important part of my life. I offer a selection of floral meditative wands that aids and enhances meditation and spiritual connection. Each element in each wand is hand-picked and bound with my intention of love and light. Each wand is as unique as nature’s flowers.
When the opportunity came up to purchase the iconic Eastside cafe and ice-cream parlour I jumped at it. Renovating this old convenience store from the 1940s and turning it into my own home and store has been an incredible adventure.
Through all my endeavours I hope to bring joy to others.

Meet Sushi
Our little teacup poodle, Suhsi, is a rescue dog who takes his customer service duties very seriously. Pop in and give him some love!
Sushi was rescued from Taiwan where for three years he was a stud in a puppy mill.
When we first adopted him he was afraid of everything and everyone, he just didn’t know how to dog!
With lots of time patience love and treats his playful personality broke through. Now he greets everyone in the store and he’s just the best little flower boy!
